Meet April
MDA has helped April realize she can do ANYTHING she puts her mind to even if it takes her a little longer. MDA has also helped her family realize they are not alone.

Meet Tyson
Tyson has participated in several clinical trials. He is proud to be a part of the research that may one day result in a cure for his diagnosis. Tyson’s family says DMD has given him unexplainable maturity and strength to keep moving forward. Tyson especially loves MDA Summer Camp where he has found independence and community.

Meet Sophia
When Sophia was younger, she wanted to deny her diagnosis but becoming an ambassador for MDA has given her a chance to speak publicly and advocate for change. She says her greatest accomplishment so far is going away to college on her own.
